महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-83, verse-74

ततः पुण्यतमं नास्ति त्रिषु लोकेषु भारत ।
प्रयागः सर्वतीर्थेभ्यः प्रभवत्यधिकं विभो ॥७४॥

74. tataḥ puṇyatamaṁ nāsti triṣu lokeṣu bhārata ,
prayāgaḥ sarvatīrthebhyaḥ prabhavatyadhikaṁ vibho.

74. tataḥ puṇyatamam na asti triṣu lokeṣu bhārata
prayāgaḥ sarvatīrthebhyaḥ prabhavati adhikam vibho

74. Therefore, O descendant of Bhārata, there is nothing more sacred in the three worlds. O mighty one, Prayāga surpasses all other holy places (tīrtha).
