महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-83, verse-50

तदरण्यं प्रविष्टस्य तुङ्गकं राजसत्तम ।
पापं प्रणश्यते सर्वं स्त्रियो वा पुरुषस्य वा ॥५०॥
50. tadaraṇyaṁ praviṣṭasya tuṅgakaṁ rājasattama ,
pāpaṁ praṇaśyate sarvaṁ striyo vā puruṣasya vā.
50. tat araṇyam praviṣṭasya tuṅgakam rājasattama
pāpam praṇaśyate sarvam striyaḥ vā puruṣasya vā
50. O best among kings, for a man (puruṣa) or a woman who enters that Tuṅgaka forest, all their sin is completely destroyed.
