महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-83, verse-58

पुमांस्तत्र नरश्रेष्ठ गमनादेव सिध्यति ।
कोटितीर्थे नरः स्नात्वा गोसहस्रफलं लभेत् ॥५८॥
58. pumāṁstatra naraśreṣṭha gamanādeva sidhyati ,
koṭitīrthe naraḥ snātvā gosahasraphalaṁ labhet.
58. pumān tatra naraśreṣṭha gamanāt eva sidhyati
koṭītīrthe naraḥ snātvā gosahasraphalam labhet
58. O best of men, a man attains perfection there simply by going. Having bathed in Koṭītīrtha, a person would obtain the merit of donating a thousand cows.
