महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-83, verse-12

पुष्पवत्यामुपस्पृश्य त्रिरात्रोपोषितो नरः ।
गोसहस्रफलं विन्द्यात्कुलं चैव समुद्धरेत् ॥१२॥
12. puṣpavatyāmupaspṛśya trirātropoṣito naraḥ ,
gosahasraphalaṁ vindyātkulaṁ caiva samuddharet.

gosahasraphalam vindyāt kulam ca eva samuddharet
12. A man who bathes at Puṣpavatī and fasts for three nights obtains the merit of donating a thousand cows and indeed uplifts his entire lineage.
