महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-83, verse-1

पुलस्त्य उवाच ।
अथ संध्यां समासाद्य संवेद्यं तीर्थमुत्तमम् ।
उपस्पृश्य नरो विद्वान्भवेन्नास्त्यत्र संशयः ॥१॥
1. pulastya uvāca ,
atha saṁdhyāṁ samāsādya saṁvedyaṁ tīrthamuttamam ,
upaspṛśya naro vidvānbhavennāstyatra saṁśayaḥ.
1. pulastyaḥ uvāca atha sandhyām samāsādya saṃvedyam tīrtham
uttamam upaspṛśya naraḥ vidvān bhavet na asti atra saṃśayaḥ
1. Pulastya said: Then, having arrived at Sandhyā, that excellent and well-known pilgrimage site, a wise person who bathes there will undoubtedly become a knower (of truth).
