महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-83, verse-65

ततो गच्छेत राजेन्द्र प्रयागमृषिसंस्तुतम् ।
यत्र ब्रह्मादयो देवा दिशश्च सदिगीश्वराः ॥६५॥
65. tato gaccheta rājendra prayāgamṛṣisaṁstutam ,
yatra brahmādayo devā diśaśca sadigīśvarāḥ.
65. tataḥ gaccheta rājendra prayāgam ṛṣisaṃstutam
yatra brahmādayaḥ devāḥ diśaḥ ca sadigīśvarāḥ
65. Then, O best of kings, one should go to Prayāga, which is extolled by the sages. There reside Brahmā and other gods, as well as the directions together with their presiding deities.
