महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-47, verse-9

यां तां वने दुःखशय्यामुवास प्रव्राजितः पाण्डवो धर्मचारी ।
आशिष्यते दुःखतरामनर्थामन्त्यां शय्यां धार्तराष्ट्रः परासुः ॥९॥
9. yāṁ tāṁ vane duḥkhaśayyāmuvāsa; pravrājitaḥ pāṇḍavo dharmacārī ,
āśiṣyate duḥkhatarāmanarthā;mantyāṁ śayyāṁ dhārtarāṣṭraḥ parāsuḥ.
9. yām tām vane duḥkhaśayyām uvāsa
pravrājitaḥ pāṇḍavaḥ dharmacārī
āśiṣyate duḥkhatarām anarthām
antyām śayyām dhārtarāṣṭraḥ parāsuḥ
9. The exiled Pāṇḍava, who faithfully lived in the forest observing his intrinsic nature (dharma), dwelled upon a bed of suffering. Dhṛtarāṣṭra, having lost his life, will embrace an even more painful and futile final resting place (śayyā).
