I requested from Mahendra (Mahendra), the thunderbolt-wielder, Vasudeva (Vāsudeva) as a helper in this battle. He, Krishna (Kṛṣṇa), has been obtained by me for the destruction of evildoers, and I believe this has been ordained by the deities for my benefit.
