महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-47, verse-63

वव्रे चाहं वज्रहस्तान्महेन्द्रादस्मिन्युद्धे वासुदेवं सहायम् ।
स मे लब्धो दस्युवधाय कृष्णो मन्ये चैतद्विहितं दैवतैर्मे ॥६३॥
63. vavre cāhaṁ vajrahastānmahendrā;dasminyuddhe vāsudevaṁ sahāyam ,
sa me labdho dasyuvadhāya kṛṣṇo; manye caitadvihitaṁ daivatairme.
63. vavre ca aham vajrahastāt mahendrāt
asmin yuddhe vāsudevam sahāyam
saḥ me labdhaḥ dasyuvadhāya kṛṣṇaḥ
manye ca etat vihitam daivataiḥ me
63. I requested from Mahendra (Mahendra), the thunderbolt-wielder, Vasudeva (Vāsudeva) as a helper in this battle. He, Krishna (Kṛṣṇa), has been obtained by me for the destruction of evildoers, and I believe this has been ordained by the deities for my benefit.
