The steadfast (dhīra) Kirīṭin (Arjuna), unfrightened, and knowing his own arm-strength, spoke to me from the vicinity of Vasudeva (Krishna). He, who was about to fight, said: 'You should speak to Dhritarashtra (Dhārtarāṣṭra) in the midst of the Kurus.'
