महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-47, verse-75

न तं देवाः सह शक्रेण सेहिरे समागता आहरणाय भीताः ।
दृष्ट्वा च ते विक्रमं केशवस्य बलं तथैवास्त्रमवारणीयम् ॥७५॥
75. na taṁ devāḥ saha śakreṇa sehire; samāgatā āharaṇāya bhītāḥ ,
dṛṣṭvā ca te vikramaṁ keśavasya; balaṁ tathaivāstramavāraṇīyam.

balaṃ tathā eva astram avāraṇīyam
75. The assembled gods, including Śakra (Indra), were fearful and unable to overcome him (Naraka) to retrieve (the jewel earrings). However, having witnessed Keśava's valor, strength, and irresistible weapon, they realized his capability.
