महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-306, verse-53

यदा तु पश्यतेऽत्यन्तमहन्यहनि काश्यप ।
तदा स केवलीभूतः षड्विंशमनुपश्यति ॥५३॥
53. yadā tu paśyate'tyantamahanyahani kāśyapa ,
tadā sa kevalībhūtaḥ ṣaḍviṁśamanupaśyati.

tadā saḥ kevalībhūtaḥ ṣaḍviṃśam anupaśyati
53. kāśyapa,
yadā tu saḥ atyantam ahanyahani paśyate,
tadā kevalībhūtaḥ ṣaḍviṃśam anupaśyati
53. But when, O Kaśyapa, one continuously perceives (reality) day by day, then, having attained isolation (kaivalya), that person perceives the twenty-sixth (principle) (puruṣa).
