योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-91, verse-29

दृढभावनया त्यक्तपूर्वापरविचारणम् ।
यदादानं पदार्थस्य वासना सा प्रकीर्तिता ॥ २९ ॥

29. When the apprehension of an object occurs through a firm mental impression, abandoning all consideration of its past or future, that is declared to be a subtle impression (vāsanā).
