मनस्तत्र परिक्षीणं यत्र संवित्परात्मनः ।
अन्धकारक्षयस्तत्र यत्रालोकः प्रवर्तते ॥ ७८ ॥

andhakāra-kṣayaḥ tatra yatra ālokaḥ pravartate

78. yatra para-ātmanaḥ saṃvit [asti],
tatra manaḥ parikṣīṇam.
yatra ālokaḥ pravartate,
tatra andhakāra-kṣayaḥ [bhavati].

78. The mind is completely dissolved where there is the consciousness (saṃvid) of the Supreme Self (parātman). Just as darkness is destroyed where light (āloka) manifests.
