बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-33, verse-1

अथाऽहं सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि कारकांशफलं द्विज ।
मेषादिराशिगे स्वांशे यथावद् ब्रह्मभाषितम् ॥१॥
1. athā'haṃ sampravakṣyāmi kārakāṃśaphalaṃ dvija .
meṣādirāśige svāṃśe yathāvad brahmabhāṣitam.
1. atha aham sampravakṣyāmi kārakāṃśaphalam dvija
meṣādirāśige sva aṃśe yathāvat brahmabhāṣitam
1. Now, O twice-born (dvija), I will fully explain the results pertaining to the kārakāṃśa (the Navamsha sign of the ātmakāraka), as it was properly declared by Brahma, when the ātmakāraka is in its own Aṃśa (Navamsha sign) within the zodiac signs starting from Aries.
