मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-21, verse-96

तन्मया ब्राह्मणत्राणं कृतमासीद्यथा त्वया ।
पातालगमनं यच्च यच्चासुरविनाशनम् ॥९६॥
96. tanmayā brāhmaṇatrāṇaṃ kṛtamāsīdyathā tvayā .
pātālagamanaṃ yacca yaccāsuravināśanam.
96. tat mayā brāhmaṇa-trāṇam kṛtam āsīt yathā tvayā
pātāla-gamanam yat ca yat ca asura-vināśanam
96. That protection of Brahmins was accomplished by me, just as the journey to Pātāla and the destruction of the Asuras were accomplished by you.
