मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-21, verse-63

जगाम तपसे धीमान् स्वाश्रमपदं तदा ।
सा चाह तां सखीं बालां कृतार्थास्मि वरानने ॥६३॥
63. jagāma tapase dhīmān svāśramapadaṃ tadā .
sā cāha tāṃ sakhīṃ bālāṃ kṛtārthāsmi varānane.
63. jagāma tapase dhīmān svāśramapadaṃ tadā sā ca
āha tāṃ sakhīṃ bālāṃ kṛtārthā asmi varānane
63. Then, the wise man went to his own hermitage (āśrama) for asceticism (tapas). And she (the maiden) said to that young friend, "O beautiful-faced one, I have achieved my purpose."
