मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-21, verse-30

तेनेयमुद्यानगता कृत्वा मायां तमोमयीम् ।
अपहृत्य मयां हीना बाला नीता दुरात्मना ॥३०॥
30. teneyamudyānagatā kṛtvā māyāṃ tamomayīm .
apahṛtya mayāṃ hīnā bālā nītā durātmanā.
30. tena iyam udyānagatā kṛtvā māyām tamomayīm
apahṛtya mayām hīnā bālā nītā durātmanā
30. Having created a dark and delusive illusion (māyā), that wicked one abducted this girl who was in the garden. Being innocent (devoid of māyā), she was taken away by him.
