आगामिन्यां त्रयोदश्यामुद्वक्ष्यति किलासुरः ।
स तु नार्हति चार्वङ्गीं शूद्रो वेदश्रुतीमिव ॥३१॥

31. āgāminyāṃ trayodaśyāmudvakṣyati kilāsuraḥ .
sa tu nārhati cārvaṅgīṃ śūdro vedaśrutīmiva.

Indeed, they say the Asura will marry her on the upcoming thirteenth day. But he does not deserve the beautiful girl, just as a śūdra is unworthy of Vedic knowledge (vedaśruti).
