मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-21, verse-78

पुत्रावूचतुः ।
इत्युक्त्वा सा परिष्वज्य स्वसखीं तं नमस्य च ।
जगाम दिव्यया गत्या यथाभिप्रेतमात्मनः ॥७८॥
78. putrāvūcatuḥ .
ityuktvā sā pariṣvajya svasakhīṃ taṃ namasya ca .
jagāma divyayā gatyā yathābhipretamātmanaḥ.
78. putrau ūcatuḥ iti uktvā sā pariṣvajya svasakhīm tam
namasya ca jagāma divyayā gatyā yathā abhipretam ātmanaḥ
78. The two sons said: Having spoken thus, she embraced her female friend and bowed to him, then departed by a divine path as she desired for herself (ātman).
