मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-21, verse-54

पुत्रावूचतुः ।
ततः प्रहृष्टा सा कन्या सखीवदनमुत्तमम् ।
लज्जाजडं वीक्षमाणा किञ्चिन्नोवाच भामिनी ॥५४॥
54. putrāvūcatuḥ .
tataḥ prahṛṣṭā sā kanyā sakhīvadanamuttamam .
lajjājaḍaṃ vīkṣamāṇā kiñcinnovāca bhāminī.
54. tataḥ prahṛṣṭā sā kanyā sakhīvadanam uttamam
lajjājaḍam vīkṣamāṇā kiñcit na uvāca bhāminī
54. The two sons narrated: Then, that delighted maiden, a beautiful woman, gazing at her friend's excellent face, which was stiffened by shyness, said nothing at all.
