मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-21, verse-82

तिष्ठ तिष्ठेति जल्पन्तस्ते तदा दानवोत्तमाः ।
शरवर्षैस्तथा शूलैर्ववर्षुर्नृपनन्दनम् ॥८२॥
82. tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti jalpantaste tadā dānavottamāḥ .
śaravarṣaistathā śūlairvavarṣurnṛpanandanam.
82. tiṣṭha tiṣṭha iti jalpantaḥ te tadā dānavottamāḥ
śaravarṣaiḥ tathā śūlaiḥ vavṛṣuḥ nṛpanandanam
82. Then, those chief dānavas (demons), shouting "Stop, stop!", rained down showers of arrows and spears upon the king's son (Ṛtadhvaja).
