मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-21, verse-92

मत्पूर्वैः ख्यातिमानीतं मया विस्तारितं पुनः ।
पराक्रमवता वीर त्वया तद्वहुलीकृतम् ॥९२॥
92. matpūrvaiḥ khyātimānītaṃ mayā vistāritaṃ punaḥ .
parākramavatā vīra tvayā tadvahulīkṛtam.
92. matpūrvaiḥ khyātim ānītam mayā vistāritaṃ
punaḥ parākramavatā vīra tvayā tat bahulīkṛtam
92. Fame (khyāti) was acquired by my ancestors (matpūrva), and further extended by me. O hero (vīra), by you, the valorous one, that (fame) has been greatly increased.
