स चापि तत्क्षणात् प्राप्तः प्रगृहीतसमित्कुशः ।
मदालसायाः सम्प्रीत्या कुण्डलागौरवेण च ॥६१॥

61. sa cāpi tatkṣaṇāt prāptaḥ pragṛhītasamitkuśaḥ .

And he too arrived at that very moment, holding sacrificial fuel (samit) and sacred grass (kuśa). He came out of great affection for Madālasā and also out of respect for Kuṇḍala.
