मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-21, verse-40

एतस्मात् कारणान्मोहं महान्तमियमागता ।
यावज्जीवं च तन्वङ्गी दुः खमेवोपभोक्ष्यते ॥४०॥
40. etasmāt kāraṇānmohaṃ mahāntamiyamāgatā .
yāvajjīvaṃ ca tanvaṅgī duḥ khamevopabhokṣyate.
40. etasmāt kāraṇāt moham mahāntam iyam āgatā yāvat
jīvam ca tanvaṅgī duḥkham eva upabhokṣyate
40. For this reason, she has fallen into a great swoon. And this slender-limbed girl will only experience sorrow throughout her life.
