मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-21, verse-90

इति श्रुत्वा पिता तस्य चरितं चारुचेतसः ।
प्रीतिमानभवच्चेदं परिष्वज्याह चात्मजम् ॥९०॥
90. iti śrutvā pitā tasya caritaṃ cārucetasaḥ .
prītimānabhavaccedaṃ pariṣvajyāha cātmajam.

abhavat ca idaṃ pariṣvajya āha ca ātmajam
90. Having heard of his pure-hearted (cārucetas) son's deeds, the father became pleased and, embracing his son (ātmaja), spoke these words.
