अतीते च दिने बालामात्मव्यापदनोद्यताम् ।
सुरभिः प्राह नायं त्वं प्राप्स्यते दानवाधमः ॥३२॥

And on a past day, Surabhi told the girl, who was intent on self-destruction (ātman-vyāpadana), 'This vilest of demons will not obtain you.'
