मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-10, verse-38

चण्डालेन तु सोपाको मूलव्यसनवृत्तिमान ।
पुक्कस्यां जायते पापः सदा सज्जनगर्हितः ॥३८॥
38. caṇḍālena tu sopāko mūlavyasanavṛttimān ,
pukkasyāṁ jāyate pāpaḥ sadā sajjanagarhitaḥ.

puṣkasyām jāyate pāpaḥ sadā sajjanagarhitaḥ
38. tu caṇḍālena puṣkasyām śvapākaḥ mūlavyasanavṛttimān

38. But from a caṇḍāla man, a śvapāka is born in a puṣkasī woman; he is one who lives by vicious deeds, is sinful, and is always despised by good people.
