मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-10, verse-2

सर्वेषां ब्राह्मणो विद्याद वृत्त्युपायान यथाविधि ।
प्रब्रूयादितरेभ्यश्च स्वयं चैव तथा भवेत ॥२॥
2. sarveṣāṁ brāhmaṇo vidyād vṛttyupāyān yathāvidhi ,
prabrūyāditarebhyaśca svayaṁ caiva tathā bhavet.

prabrūyāt itarebhyaḥ ca svayam ca eva tathā bhavet

2. A brahmin should properly understand the means of livelihood for all (social classes). He should instruct others in these and should himself live accordingly.
