O Sañjaya, similarly, Drona, the great archer, who had laid down all his weapons in battle and was absorbed in deep spiritual contemplation (yoga), and who was pierced by many arrows, was killed by Drupada's son; Dhṛṣṭadyumna killed him, raising his sword.
