महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-5, verse-1

जनमेजय उवाच ।
श्रुत्वा कर्णं हतं युद्धे पुत्रांश्चैवापलायिनः ।
नरेन्द्रः किंचिदाश्वस्तो द्विजश्रेष्ठ किमब्रवीत् ॥१॥
1. janamejaya uvāca ,
śrutvā karṇaṁ hataṁ yuddhe putrāṁścaivāpalāyinaḥ ,
narendraḥ kiṁcidāśvasto dvijaśreṣṭha kimabravīt.
