सूर्योदये महाबाहुर्दिवसश्चातिवर्तते ।
तन्न जानामि वार्ष्णेय यदि जीवति वा न वा ।
कुरूणां चापि तत्सैन्यं सागरप्रतिमं महत् ॥८१॥

81. sūryodaye mahābāhurdivasaścātivartate ,
tanna jānāmi vārṣṇeya yadi jīvati vā na vā ,
kurūṇāṁ cāpi tatsainyaṁ sāgarapratimaṁ mahat.

81. As the sun rises, the day advances. O Vārṣṇeya (Kṛṣṇa), I do not know whether that mighty-armed (Arjuna) lives or not. Furthermore, that vast Kuru army resembles the ocean.
