महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-85, verse-43

यो हि प्रीतमना नित्यं यश्च नित्यमनुव्रतः ।
स कार्ये सांपराये तु नियोज्य इति मे मतिः ॥४३॥
43. yo hi prītamanā nityaṁ yaśca nityamanuvrataḥ ,
sa kārye sāṁparāye tu niyojya iti me matiḥ.
43. yaḥ hi prītamanā nityam yaḥ ca nityam anuvrataḥ
saḥ kārye sāmparāye tu niyojyaḥ iti me matiḥ
43. hi,
yaḥ nityam prītamanā,
ca yaḥ nityam anuvrataḥ,
saḥ tu kārye sāmparāye niyojyaḥ iti me matiḥ
43. Indeed, whoever is always cheerful and always devoted, that person should be employed in a task, especially in a crucial situation like battle; this is my firm opinion.
