महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-150, verse-51

न चास्यासीदनिर्भिन्नं गात्रे द्व्यङ्गुलमन्तरम् ।
सोऽदृश्यत मुहूर्तेन श्वाविच्छललितो यथा ॥५१॥
51. na cāsyāsīdanirbhinnaṁ gātre dvyaṅgulamantaram ,
so'dṛśyata muhūrtena śvāvicchalalito yathā.
51. na ca asya āsīt anirbhinnam gātre dvyaṅgulam antaram
saḥ adṛśyata muhūrtena śvāvit chalalitaḥ yathā
51. ca asya gātre dvyaṅgulam antaram anirbhinnam na
āsīt saḥ muhūrtena śvāvit chalalitaḥ yathā adṛśyata
51. And there was no unpierced space of two fingers on his body. In a moment, he appeared like a porcupine (covered in quills).
