महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-150, verse-50

तस्य सर्वान्हयान्हत्वा संछिद्य शतधा रथम् ।
अभ्यवर्षच्छरैः कर्णः पर्जन्य इव वृष्टिमान् ॥५०॥
50. tasya sarvānhayānhatvā saṁchidya śatadhā ratham ,
abhyavarṣaccharaiḥ karṇaḥ parjanya iva vṛṣṭimān.

50. Having killed all of his horses and having cut his chariot into a hundred pieces, Karṇa then showered (Ghaṭotkaca) with arrows, just like a rain-cloud (parjanya) showers rain.
