महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-150, verse-102

राक्षसाश्च पिशाचाश्च यातुधानाः शलावृकाः ।
ते कर्णं भक्षयिष्यन्तः सर्वतः समुपाद्रवन् ।
अथैनं वाग्भिरुग्राभिस्त्रासयां चक्रिरे तदा ॥१०२॥
102. rākṣasāśca piśācāśca yātudhānāḥ śalāvṛkāḥ ,
te karṇaṁ bhakṣayiṣyantaḥ sarvataḥ samupādravan ,
athainaṁ vāgbhirugrābhistrāsayāṁ cakrire tadā.

102. Rākṣasas, Piśācas, Yātudhānas, and Śalāvṛkas—they rushed from all sides, intending to devour Karṇa. Then, at that time, they terrified him with fierce words.
