महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-24, verse-45

आशौचो ब्राह्मणो राजन्योऽश्नीयाद्ब्राह्मणादिषु ।
ज्ञानपूर्वमथो लोभात्तस्याधर्मो गवानृतम् ॥४५॥
45. āśauco brāhmaṇo rājanyo'śnīyādbrāhmaṇādiṣu ,
jñānapūrvamatho lobhāttasyādharmo gavānṛtam.
45. āśaucaḥ brāhmaṇaḥ rājan yaḥ aśnīyāt brāhmaṇa-ādiṣu
jñāna-pūrvam atha u lobhāt tasya adharmaḥ go-anṛtam
45. rājan yaḥ āśaucaḥ brāhmaṇaḥ jñāna-pūrvam atha u lobhāt
brāhmaṇa-ādiṣu aśnīyāt tasya adharmaḥ go-anṛtam
45. O King, a brāhmaṇa who, being ritually impure (āśauca), eats among brāhmaṇas and others, knowingly and out of greed, commits a transgression (adharma) equivalent to lying about cows.
