महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-24, verse-27

अग्निहोत्री च यो विप्रो ग्रामवासी च यो भवेत् ।
अस्तेनश्चातिथिज्ञश्च स राजन्केतनक्षमः ॥२७॥
27. agnihotrī ca yo vipro grāmavāsī ca yo bhavet ,
astenaścātithijñaśca sa rājanketanakṣamaḥ.

27. O king, that brahmin (vipra) who performs the Agnihotra (Vedic fire ritual), who resides in a village, who is honest, and who is hospitable, he is indeed fit to be invited.
