महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-24, verse-35

श्राद्धस्य ब्राह्मणः कालः प्राप्तं दधि घृतं तथा ।
सोमक्षयश्च मांसं च यदारण्यं युधिष्ठिर ॥३५॥
35. śrāddhasya brāhmaṇaḥ kālaḥ prāptaṁ dadhi ghṛtaṁ tathā ,
somakṣayaśca māṁsaṁ ca yadāraṇyaṁ yudhiṣṭhira.

35. O Yudhiṣṭhira, for the ancestral ritual (śrāddha), the presence of a worthy Brahmin is the auspicious time, and likewise, readily available curd and ghee, and the waning of the moon, and any wild meat that is obtained (are also auspicious elements).
