महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-57, verse-96

पाण्डोस्तु जज्ञिरे पञ्च पुत्रा देवसमाः पृथक् ।
द्वयोः स्त्रियोर्गुणज्येष्ठस्तेषामासीद्युधिष्ठिरः ॥९६॥
96. pāṇḍostu jajñire pañca putrā devasamāḥ pṛthak ,
dvayoḥ striyorguṇajyeṣṭhasteṣāmāsīdyudhiṣṭhiraḥ.
96. pāṇḍoḥ tu jajñire pañca putrāḥ devasamāḥ pṛthak
dvayoḥ striyoḥ guṇajyeṣṭhaḥ teṣām āsīt yudhiṣṭhiraḥ
96. From Pāṇḍu, five sons, equal to the gods, were born from his two wives. Among them, Yudhiṣṭhira was the eldest in virtue.
