महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-57, verse-87

पुरुषः स विभुः कर्ता सर्वभूतपितामहः ।
धर्मसंवर्धनार्थाय प्रजज्ञेऽन्धकवृष्णिषु ॥८७॥

87. puruṣaḥ sa vibhuḥ kartā sarvabhūtapitāmahaḥ ,
dharmasaṁvardhanārthāya prajajñe'ndhakavṛṣṇiṣu.

87. That all-pervading Person, the Creator and the grandfather of all beings, was born among the Andhaka and Vṛṣṇi clans for the purpose of upholding righteousness.

87. אותו האדם הקוסמי, הכל נוכח, הבורא, אבי אבותיהם של כל היצורים, נולד בין בני אַנְדְהַקַה ובני וְרְשְׁנִי כדי לחזק את חוקת היושר.
