महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-27, verse-98

तनुत्यजां नृसिंहानामाहवेष्वनिवर्तिनाम् ।
या गतिर्गुरुणा प्राङ्मे प्रोक्ता रामेण तां स्मर ॥९८॥
98. tanutyajāṁ nṛsiṁhānāmāhaveṣvanivartinām ,
yā gatirguruṇā prāṅme proktā rāmeṇa tāṁ smara.

gatiḥ guruṇā prāk me proktā rāmeṇa tām smara

98. Remember that destiny which was previously declared to me by the preceptor (guru) Rāma regarding those lion-like men who sacrifice their bodies and do not retreat in battles.
