महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-27, verse-30

संजय उवाच ।
इति कर्णस्य वाक्यान्ते शल्यः प्राहोत्तरं वचः ।
चुकोपयिषुरत्यर्थं कर्णं मद्रेश्वरः पुनः ॥३०॥
30. saṁjaya uvāca ,
iti karṇasya vākyānte śalyaḥ prāhottaraṁ vacaḥ ,
cukopayiṣuratyarthaṁ karṇaṁ madreśvaraḥ punaḥ.
30. saṃjayaḥ uvāca | iti karṇasya vākyānte śalyaḥ prāha uttaram
vacaḥ | cukopayiṣuḥ atyartham karṇam madreśvaraḥ punaḥ
30. saṃjayaḥ uvāca iti karṇasya vākyānte madreśvaraḥ śalyaḥ
karṇam atyartham cukopayiṣuḥ punaḥ uttaram vacaḥ prāha
30. Saṃjaya said: 'At the end of Karṇa's speech, Śalya, the lord of the Madras, spoke another word (or "replied"), intending to provoke Karṇa exceedingly, once again.'
