महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-27, verse-84

इति वृश्चिकदष्टस्य नानाविषहतस्य च ।
कुर्वन्ति भेषजं प्राज्ञाः सत्यं तच्चापि दृश्यते ।
एवं विद्वञ्जोषमास्स्व शृणु चात्रोत्तरं वचः ॥८४॥
84. iti vṛścikadaṣṭasya nānāviṣahatasya ca ,
kurvanti bheṣajaṁ prājñāḥ satyaṁ taccāpi dṛśyate ,
evaṁ vidvañjoṣamāssva śṛṇu cātrottaraṁ vacaḥ.
84. iti vṛścikadaṣṭasya nānāviṣahatasya
ca kurvanti bheṣajam prājñāḥ satyam
tat ca api dṛśyate evam vidvan
joṣam āssva śṛṇu ca atra uttaram vacaḥ
84. iti vṛścikadaṣṭasya nānāviṣahatasya ca prājñāḥ bheṣajam kurvanti.
tat satyam ca api dṛśyate.
evam vidvan,
joṣam āssva ca atra uttaram vacaḥ śṛṇu.
84. Thus, for someone bitten by a scorpion and for someone afflicted by various poisons, the wise ones prepare remedies. And truly, that [efficacy] is also observed. Therefore, O learned one, remain quiet and listen to these further words on this matter.
