महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-27, verse-74

दुरात्मा मद्रको नित्यं नित्यं चानृतिकोऽनृजुः ।
यावदन्तं हि दौरात्म्यं मद्रकेष्विति नः श्रुतम् ॥७४॥
74. durātmā madrako nityaṁ nityaṁ cānṛtiko'nṛjuḥ ,
yāvadantaṁ hi daurātmyaṁ madrakeṣviti naḥ śrutam.
74. durātmā madrakaḥ nityaṃ nityaṃ ca anṛtikaḥ anṛjuḥ
| yāvadantam hi daurātmyaṃ madrakeṣu iti naḥ śrutam
74. madrakaḥ nityaṃ durātmā,
ca nityaṃ anṛtikaḥ anṛjuḥ.

madrakeṣu daurātmyaṃ yāvadantam (bhavati) iti naḥ śrutam.
74. A Madra is always evil-minded (durātman), and always a liar, dishonest. Indeed, it is heard by us that this wickedness (daurātmya) among the Madras persists indefinitely, to the very end.
