Thus, one should understand the increase (vṛddhi) or decrease (hāni) of the significance of that particular house (bhāva) belonging to the sign (rāśi) in question, relative to its own natural house, sequentially determined by the abundance or absence of benefic points (bindu) in its own Aṣṭakavarga. By applying the principles of houses (bhāvayojanā), one should know the auspicious and inauspicious effects concerning children, spouses, and so on.
