If that particular (bādhaka) sign is the planet's exaltation sign or its own sign, then there will be auspiciousness, happiness, and acquisition of wealth. However, if it is devoid of such (exaltation or own sign status), then there will be unhappiness, and that planetary period (daśā) will not be beneficial.
