The beginning (daśārambha) or end (daśānta) of a planetary period (dasha) in a maraka (killer) house is not auspicious (śobhana). And if, in that very situation, Rahu (rāhu) creates an obstruction (nirodha), it leads to the destruction of wealth (dravyanāśana).
