बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-50, verse-87

तारतम्यात्सुसम्बन्धा दशा ह्येताः फलप्रदाः ।
स्वकेन्द्रादिजुषां तेषां पूर्णार्द्धांघ्रिव्यवस्थया ॥८७॥
87. tāratamyātsusambandhā daśā hyetāḥ phalapradāḥ .
svakendrādijuṣāṃ teṣāṃ pūrṇārddhāṃghrivyavasthayā.
87. tāratamyāt susambandhāḥ daśāḥ hi etāḥ phalapradāḥ
svakendrādijuṣām teṣām pūrṇārddhāṅghrivyavasthayā
87. Indeed, these planetary periods (daśā), being well-connected and graduated in their effects, are productive of results. For those (planets) occupying their own Kendra (angular) houses and so on, results are given according to a system of full, half, or quarter strength.
