When a malefic (pāpa) planet is situated in a trine house (trikoṇa), one should certainly (niścaya) predict suffering (duḥkha). In this manner, an expert astrologer (budha) should confidently (niścaya) declare all auspicious and inauspicious outcomes (śubhāśubha).
