बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-50, verse-39

आरम्भे पापराशौ वा यदीशो दुर्बलो द्विज ।
नीचादौ तद्दशाद्यन्ते वदेद्भाग्यविपर्ययम् ॥३९॥
39. ārambhe pāparāśau vā yadīśo durbalo dvija .
nīcādau taddaśādyante vadedbhāgyaviparyayam.

nīcādau tat daśā ādyante vadet bhāgyaviparyayam
39. O twice-born (dvija)! If at the commencement (ārambha) of a planetary period, the lord (īśa) is weak (durbala) due to being in a malefic sign (pāparāśi), or if it is debilitated (nīca) or in similar adverse conditions, then one should predict a reversal of fortune (bhāgyaviparyayam) both at the beginning and the end of that specific planetary period (daśā).
